Club Committee

Chairman - Mark Dougill

Chairman of the club now for a year and a half his main roles at the club include:

Ensuring we are BRCA compliant.
Ensure all racers have BRCA membership.
Control clubs pricing.
Continuously look to drive the club forwards.
Ensure every race night is fun and enjoyable.
Ensure correct driver discipline is followed.
General running of the club on a race night.

Mark has been around the RC scene since joining back up in 2020. You will usually catch him as well at nationals and the micc. Always one to help everyone out in the pits and help them get the most out of their car.

Mark's biggest accomplishment in racing is a top 10 finish at the MICC in the 17.5T class out of 84 entrants.

Treasurer - Steve Randerson

Steve has held a number of different committee positions at AEMCC over several years and is currently our Treasurer.

His responsibilities are to manage the general financial operations of the club and to make sure all the bills are paid.
He's also the general go-to guy for IT stuff, so can usually be found running race control on race nights.

Steve is a veteran racer who started racing buggies at North Humberside Model Buggy Club back when speed controllers needed their own servo. He got back into racing after a 22 year break to find that the technology has moved on quite a bit...

A buggy driver at heart, he is currently running a Tamiya TT02 in our Saloon class, because of the fun racing and the opportunities to run bodyshells for cars from a bygone era.

Social Media - Steven Burns

Steve runs the club's Facebook page and writes the race reports each week, along with filming and sharing the club's racing videos on YouTube.
Despite being a relatively new face in RC, Steve actually raced back in the 90’s at a couple of his local clubs, but moved on to BMX biking. After admitting that he’s now too old for the BMX, he returned to racing in 2023 after two decades away from the hobby.
Steve has only ever raced on-road and currently races in the BRCA Touring Car Nationals in modified class, along with his faithful Tamiya TT-02 that he races Tamiya at AEMCC.
